ANNIVERSARY BOOK
TOUCHES DONORS’ HEART
It’s always a real treat to make an anniversary book – even more so if it’s for a good cause. We took everything off the Eye Care Foundation’s hands, digitalized hundreds of photographs and developed a monumental collector’s book.
The Eye Care Foundation gives blind people in developing countries their sight back. This dynamic and enthusiastic organization is active in the farthest reaches of the world. The foundation shares expertise, trains doctors and nurses and builds hospitals, eye clinics and eye care centres.
2019 marks the Eye Care Foundation’s 35th year. The board decided it was time for an anniversary book and enlisted JEA’s help. We love making anniversary books in the first place; on top of that, this was a lovely good cause, one that our publishing house was all too happy to help.
JEA took the hard work for the new book off their hands on all imaginable fronts, from editing to design to the digitalization of an image archive with thousands of photographs. It became a book with moving stories by donors, doctors and volunteers: a monument for the history of this foundation and a showcase for new fund-raising.
