We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Maurits Enschedé on 11 May, at the age of 92

Mr Enschedé worked for Joh. Enschedé en Zonen Grafische Inrichting BV (the future Royal Joh. Enschedé BV) from 1954 to 1991. He was the director of the company from 1963 until he retired in 1991. Joh. Enschedé Amsterdam was a subsidiary of Royal Joh. Enschedé BV until the end of 2013. Even at an advanced age, Mr Maurits Enschedé played a crucial role, with his advice and involvement, in spinning off Joh. Enschedé Amsterdam via JEA Holding BV at the end of 2013.

We are greatly indebted to Mr Enschedé and think back on him with great respect.

Our thoughts are with his children, grandchildren and rest of the family during this difficult time.
